Serving God by Loving Others
Striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus Dade City First United Methodist is proud to partner with organizations in our local community, with UMC efforts throughout the country, and in missions across the globe. |

School-Church Partnership with Pasco Elementary School
Our church family is privileged to support the students, staff, and families at Pasco Elementary School. We have a team of volunteers that help in classrooms each week. We also recognize the hardworking teachers and staff by hosting luncheons and special appreciation gifts throughout the year. We are especially proud to support the school's Year of Books initiative, with the goal of gifting a book to each student once a month throughout the school year. We are so thankful for the opportunity to share a love of reading and the love of Jesus in our community!

Metropolitan Ministries at Restored Hope
Restored Hope serves Dade City and East Pasco County by caring for those that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Each week our church collects non-perishable food items to help stock the food pantry shelves. Many members of the congregation volunteer regularly at this beacon in the community. In addition, our DC4JC Youth members help by giving their time during food distributions and toy drives.

UMCOR Cleaning Kits
When tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods shake the lives of our neighbors, the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) has supplies on-hand and are ready to distribute to those in need. Dade City FUMC is grateful for the network of United Methodists across the country. In addition to monetary donations, our congregation helps to assemble Cleaning Kits full of supplies that will help those in times of crisis to get back on their feet.

Florida United Methodist Children's Home
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home was established in 1908 to provide a home for orphans and other children that had nowhere else to live. Today it serves as a diverse ministry with two campuses including residential, therapeutic groups, foster, and emergency shelter care. On fifth Sunday months, our church collects a special offering dedicated for the Children's Home and the important mission it serves.
Global Missions
We are proud of the members from our church who give their time and talents in mission trips around the world. It is an honor to support our brothers and sisters following the call to serve the least of these. The Dade City FUMC congregation is proud to support these missions by donating funds and supplies such as Bibles, eyeglasses, and footwear.
